This was one
of our most challenging casino projects.
Our objective was to recreate the atmosphere evoked by an old western facade. To remain
true to that vision, we actually tore down several old buildings, salvaging and using
their lumber so that the completed items conveyed an authentic sense of age.
The most difficult challenge of this particular project was the fact that the atrium was
the only entrance to all of the areas of the Sam's Town construction site. This meant that
all subcontractors were obligated to using this singular portal for access. Therefore, the
logistics and coordination was an achievement in itself.
We furnished and installed all of the woodwork, stonework, special finishes and
antiquities you'll see in the photos presented.
